Melbourne Water is working with the local community, key stakeholders and project partners to continue improvements to the natural amenity of the creek.

The Enhancing Our Dandenong Creek program is an innovative, collaborative and alternative approach to sewerage management that focuses on protecting public health, improving stormwater quality and bringing the creek back to life for the flora, fauna and community that live there.

Due to the success of the Enhancing Our Dandenong Creek pilot, the program is now transitioning into the next five-year program – come and take a closer look at what's been achieved during the pilot including a walking tour of the award-winning Daylighting Dandenong Creek project.
